How to update your Teaching Practising Certificate?

A teaching practising certificate is issued to every registered teacher for three years. You can refer to the certificate itself or view the online register to see when your practising certificate expires. Reminders to update your practising certificate are sent out 3 months in advance of your practising certificate expiry date and for this reason, it is important to inform us of any contact detail changes. However, ultimately it is the teacher's responsibility to update their registration and provide all the necessary information.

Complete the correct application form

To update your practising certificate, you must complete the application specific to your registration category and teaching history. Please read the form application guidelines carefully to ensure you meet all the requirements and have completed your form correctly.
