This report addresses what teachers, professional leaders, governance groups and senior students identify as major factors affecting teacher recruitment, retention and performance. The research was conducted across the three sectors of early childhood, primary and secondary education. In particular, the research investigated the impact of these groups' perceptions of teachers and teachers' work.
