ADMINISTRATION/CUSTOMER SUPPORT OFFICER
(Permanent Part time)
The New Zealand Teachers Council has a significant role to play in professional leadership, in enhancing the status of the teaching profession and ensuring teachers meet registration and practising certificate requirements.
The Council currently has a permanent part time position vacancy in the Registration team. This team manages teacher registration across the New Zealand education sector from early childhood to secondary.
The Administration/ Customer Support Officer position is 12 hours per week and involves ensuring that numerous office administrative tasks and general office duties are completed efficiently to assist staff who are involved in responding to enquiries from teachers, principals, supervisors, and others and for assisting staff involved in processing applications.
Ideal applicants for the position would have the ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, be able to quickly absorb new information, be accurate in the information that is communicated, enjoy working with processes and have some experience in working within required timeframes.
Attention to detail, good oral and written communication skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products are essential attributes. Applicants are expected to work effectively within a team, have good organisational skills and be customer focused.
