Information for applicants

 

Thank you for visiting the Council's vacancy site. When positions are available the Council will post the vacancy on the website.

A position description will be available to download. If you apply for a position please provide a curriculum vitae setting out your skills and experience relevant to the job. Please also complete the application form and send it in with your application.

Receipt of your application will be acknowledged. If you are short listed for a vacancy you will need to provide the names of three work related referees. To ensure the highest levels of integrity and client safety we will need to know if you have any criminal charges pending or have been convicted of any criminal offences, other than minor traffic infringements. Please provide details of any such charges or convictions on the Council's application form.

The NZ Teachers Council has a structured appointment procedure to ensure that all applicants are treated fairly and that the best applicant is selected for the job. Selection is based on assessment of each person's skills, knowledge, experience and personal qualities against the specifications of the position description.

We will advise you by letter if you are not short listed for this position.
